Another FOMA phone of the 703-series has been introduced by NTT DoCoMo – the P703iμ by Panasonic. Like the N703iμ it is the slimmest W-CDMA clamshell phone (11.4 mm).

The filling of the P703iμ (screen savers, melodies, menu design) was designed by the London designer’s group TOMATO. The shell is made of stainless steel, so the phone looks luxurious.

Easy to operate and stylish the Panasonic MX7 is an attractive clamshell mobile phone. Its dimensions are 51 x 102 x 26 mm and weighs 144g. This is one of the heaviest phones available in the market and it is also too wide feeling uncomfortable in use, frankly speaking felt tired after holding one hour. Its battery power is excellent that gives up to 860 hours of standby time and up to 16 hours of talks. The Panasonic MX7 comes with a large 320 x 240 TFT screen that produces 16M colors. Along with numeric keypad you can also find a five-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

The most impressive feature of the phone is it’s a 2 mega pixel camera that can not only captures still photos (1600 x 1200) even will also records video with sound. The phone also has an integrated MP3 player. MP3 and MPEG4 are both formats, which can be stored for playback on the Panasonic MX7. If we are talking about storage the phone comes with 30 MB of internal memory.

Panasonic MX7 supports for Tri-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800/ GSM 1900 MHz as well as supports Blue tooth, Infrared and GPRS. The phone offers various features that includes WAP browser, Java, polyphonic ring tones, vibration alert, T9, Calendar, Games, SMS, EMS, MMS, Call records and Phonebook.

Overall, the Panasonic MX7 is a great phone with superb features. The sound quality is good but the speaker volume is too much slow. The keyboard isn’t hard to press, the menu is so easy and the display is also good.
